One Pot Creamy Chicken Legs

If you love chicken dishes and want to make something hearty in just one pot, this is the perfect dish for you!

Ingredients you will need

800g chicken legs (about 3-4 chicken legs)

150g closed cup mushrooms, halved

200g baby spinach

150ml single cream/soy cream

50g cheddar cheese

1/2 tsp salt

chopped parsley, to garnish (optional)

Marinade for chicken

2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground black pepper

2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Marinade the chicken legs and set aside.

  2. Heat a large frying pan over high heat, add the chicken with skin side down. (that’s the “presentation side”😉 )

  3. Pan sear the skin side for 6-8 mins until the skin is golden and crispy, then turn over and cook the other side for further 6-8 mins. Transfer the chicken legs to a plate.

  4. Add the mushrooms, spinach, salt and the single cream straight to the pan, cook for 2-3 minutes on medium-high heat.

  5. Add the cheddar cheese and give it a little stir.

  6. Return the chicken legs to the pan.

  7. Turn to medium heat and simmer for 10 mins until the sauce reduce to a very thick and creamy one.

  8. Garnish with some chopped parsley, serve hot.
